money. For the $124M the state gives UNLV,
we produce a $1.5B economic impact, with $913M in direct spending and
well over $300M in export economy from grants, events and students from
out of state. We are an investment, not a cost."
Dr. Smatresk, with all due respect, the taxpayer give UNLV $124 million, NOT the state.
