Students

The State of Nevada has a Board of Regents of 13 members.  All are elected by the public at large.  That would be only fair if the state provided all the funding for higher education.  But its not fair because the students who provide a substantial amount of the systems funds have no say at all.

  1. I say the student could have a say, STRIKE! Close the place down, with hold tuition payments and other assorted fees. It may take a while but......

  3. Jim, we need to reduce the number of Regents and use more outside compliance companies to hold NSHE administration accountable. We need a thorough audit of the whole system and real evaluations of every administrator. Let's prove higher education is worth taxpayer investment.
